We have recently become aware that somebody has been distributing fake Emails purported to be sent by our company President Mr. Yoshiyuki Takagi of Cosmos Initia Co., Ltd. with an intention we believe to defraud recipients. 

In one fraudulent Email we have seen they wrote as follows:.

“We need your assistant/representative in the U.S. also to receive payment from our customers in the North America, and we seek your assistant to be our payment receiving agent in North America we need an Escrow account that can hold funds received from customers.”

 Cosmos Initia Co., Ltd. is not in search of a U.S. Representative Agent. We have nothing at all to do with such Emails. If you receive such an Email please disregard it and report it to the police. We suspect the intent of these Emails is to attempt to defraud the recipient.

The fraudulent Emails we have seen have come from the following address

We have already reported this matter to the police in Japan.
